About That White Light

It is said that what awaits us all after death is a tunnel of Darkness and then a "White Light" at the end. It is also said that this "White Light" has an overwhelming pull on you drawing you into the Light and then the story stops leaving us to conclude is this "White Light" a good thing or something we should instinctively fear? Maybe we have been taught wrong and all Light is to be avoided at all costs including the saving of your "Soul". All White Light is ARTIFICIAL.
