Iraqi Protesters Burn Iranian Consulate in Najaf

Iraqi protesters stormed an Iranian consulate in the Shi'ite city of Najaf and were able to set fire to the building before being dispersed by the Iraqi military who reportedly killed 24 of the rioters. This event shows that the protest movement in Iraq is not slowing down any time soon, and increasingly is becoming disenchanted with the prospects for a political solution to the current crisis.
