What's driving the left's IDENTITY POLITICS obsession?

David Limbaugh says identity politics and group mentality is driving the left today.

“You can’t watch an award show without these people obsessing on race, gender, sexual orientation. That’s all they care about. And that they even wrap that into their Marxist economic idea that it’s all related to oppression and oppressed and oppressor and victim and victimizer. It’s really a negative, sad way to look at the world. And yet that is what drives leftism today.”
