The God of Mercy

Several examples are referenced in scripture to show that the Lord of the Old Testament was incredibly merciful even though He cannot tolerate willful sin. These references add to the meaning of that mercy shown by Jesus Christ, whom He became, being the same yesterday, today, and forever.
