Red Flag Standoff in New York?

Many people were concerned yesterday after a libertarian social media personality posted on instagram that he was the target of a "red flag" gun confiscation raid. The man holed himself up in his house for hours as supporter jeered at police from the sidelines until the man who goes by "whiskey_warrior_556" surrendered to the police. The police department later posted on Facebook that they were arresting him for non-gun related charges and seized no weapons or magazines from his home. The real significance of this story however is the online reaction to what they believed was an ongoing red flag case and the amount of people who showed up to support this man against the police. Gun culture is alive and well in America, and no law can change that.
