Can/Should There be a Room for a 3rd Party in American Politics?

Dozens of former Republicans & Democrats announced last week that they had formed a new centrist political party aimed at attracting the support of voters who have become dissatisfied with America’s two major political parties. Could this be the new direction in American politics? Will it work? Will the Elites allow it?

One thing is sure: The American political system is/has been controlled by both parties (Republics and Democrats) for the last 150 years! Time for change???
