We were overdue a cook with Brian Misko of House of Q.

He came armed with two new spice blends and a recipe for smacked burgers and braided pork tenderloin.

It is so good to catch up with old friends, test some new recipes and just cook!

btw. We cooked on our Yoder Flattop this time, with South African Charcoal. We used Alberta Pork and New Zealand lamb, Cheese from Quebec and Slaw from the USA. The bread was baked in Vernon, BC. We are fortunate to have access to all these products through our local retailers and distributors.
