This will be a fun phonics lesson for adults to help you learn American English pronunciation. Today we will do lesson 7 in the Level 5 Adult Phonics series. We will learn the letter pair AR and its unique sound. I will teach you how to correctly say the words Car, Star, Arm, Card, Park, and Farmer in an English accent. We will learn the two letter pair OR. I will teach you how to correctly say the words Horse, Cork, Fork, Store, Corn, and North in an American English accent. I just want you to start to notice the patterns for spelling. I want you to focus on reading and pronouncing the sounds correctly. That is the most important part. This is how a native English speaker learns to read and speak. And you can too.
