TOOLBOX MURDERS 2004 - A historic Hollywood hotel turned into apartments is said to house a supernatural evil. It's an old legend that's taken on mythical proportions, but when renovations start a series of murders take place. The cause of the killings is something much more than a spiritual apparition.

Tobe Hooper had several hits & misses prior to tackling this, and generally got favorable reviews for this Toolbox Murders remake.
