2020 Porsche 992 Launch Party at COTA

Porsche really knows how to put on a launch party! Sorry this was filmed on a potato...

Here's my thoughts:
• The PDK is still the best dual clutch transmission in the industry, but more importantly YOU CAN GET ONE WITH A MANUAL!
• I like the 992's styling. They managed to make it look leaner without it being a smaller car. Flatness seems to be a theme.
• I'm not really a fan of the digital dash, but that's just me.
• Some have lamented the naturally aspirated engine going away, but I really enjoy the torque that the turbos provide. The new 992 4S feels like it pulls as hard as the 991 Turbo S.
• Sadly the 992 feels more "electronic" and disconnected than the 991 does. Just as the 991 feels that way compared to the 997, and so on down the line. It's an unfortunate side effect that technology which makes cars better overall also numbs the visceral experience.
• Porsche knows how to treat their customers well.
