TARANTULA 1955 - In the Arizona desert, Professor Gerald Deemer is experimenting with growth hormones to increase the world food supply. Among several oversized creatures is a super-sized Tarantula. It escapes from the laboratory and grows to a tremendous size as it wreaks havoc on the local inhabitants.
