Are Digital Games Right For You (Paw Patrol Edition)

Are you better off with physical or digital games. The industry is slowly pushing gamers into more digital content. It has some benefits but some serious drawbacks.

If you buy a physical game, it is yours forever. I just did a video on Bucky O'Hare for the original NES and it works great.

Fast-forward to 2019 and games are becoming more and more likely to require digital components, even in the physical game.

In this video, Paw Patrol for the Nintendo Switch is discussed. My daughter wanted this game, but rarely plays it. As a children's game, eventually, she will grow out of it and have absolutely NO interest in this game. I will still own a digital copy because I purchased the game on Nintendo's eShop.
