Dealing With People that Say Keto is Going to Kill You - Jack’s Low Carb Journey Epi-33

It is very common to hear such things. Well you may lose some weight but you are going to get heart disease or cancer and die. Or say your cholesterol is going to sky rocket. Today we talk about dealing with such people in your life.

My five ways of dealing with people who say keto is bad for you…

1. Give them my 100 dollar challenge. Bring me a solid study that shows an increase in heart disease or cancer when eating good fats while on carbohydrate restriction and I will pay you 100 dollars. Can you do that?
2. Show me a study of people that were on a keto diet with healthy fats for at least 90 days where cholesterol numbers did not improve. Can you find me one such study?
3. Show me pictures of your meals for the next week, let’s compare them to my meals and you tell me which looks healthier. Are you willing to do that?
4. If eating a reasonable sized burger and fries is okay. How is throwing away the bun, adding more salad and drinking a water with it going to kill me?
5. Why don’t you just shut the fuck up and let me worry about me?
