Former WH Comm Director Says FBI Raid May Have ‘Handed’ Trump The Presidency

The FBI raid on former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago property, according to former White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin on Tuesday, might be crucial to his success in the 2024 presidential race.

Griffin expressed her hope that the investigation is more significant than just Trump breaking some archiving laws and that it is not the case that the Department of Justice (DOJ) "handed" Trump the Republican nomination and perhaps the upcoming presidential election. Griffin made her remarks during an appearance on CNN's "New Day."

"This is a very fantastic day for Donald Trump if it's regarded as some sort of enormous overreach and not something extremely serious," she remarked.
