Henderson, Nevada – On December 14, 2019, Henderson police responded to a 911 call for a man with a knife threatening to stab people at Trader Joes near Sunset Road and Green Valley Parkway.

When officers arrived, they found the suspect, 37-year-old John Watson, armed with a knife and was shot after he began advancing with a knife.

Watson was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He died from his injuries.
