An Inquiry into the Quran's Syriac origins and why Ibn Ishaq changed the earlier Islamic tradition

This video explores:
-Why Ibn Ishaq moved Muhammad further south, killed him off earlier and the later Islamic tradition depicts Muhammad as illiterate (contradicting the earlier one).
-The geographical region in which Syriac was spoken in the 1st century, 7th century and 11th century, and why that is relevant to Islamic origins.
- Two illustrative examples of Syriac source texts used for passages in the Quran
- The Nabataen Arabic is a pre-cursor to Quranic Arabic

Sneaker's Corner seeks to comment on and share some of the key moments from Speaker's Corner.
