0-DTE Trading Success is Knowing When to Seize Opportunity

There's no need to understand how or why the zero DTE strategy works. You only need to know when to seize the opportunity. You know, if IQ or knowledge of options, theory was the qualifying factor for success, then it would be easy to predict who would be a successful trader and who will not. But after working with thousands of traders, It's clear that the best traders are those that have little knowledge of the underlying theory.

They learned the best time to buy and the best time to sell simply by doing society generally puts way too much value on theoretical or academic knowledge and not nearly enough on practical hands on experience. We expect the latter to lead to the former. The fastest developing zero DTE traders I've found are those with little or no experience trading.

In fact, my greatest challenge as a coach and a mentor is deprogramming experienced traders so that they can see the trade and not be influenced by the toxic baggage. They have been fed in their entire trading career. For example, while high probability trading strategies may appeal to our need to win.

It blinds us to the danger of the risk. It carries with it. Most traders have been taught to avoid volatility. When in fact it is the very source of their opportunity and you can take advantage of the zero DTE antifragile system without properly understanding its principles. Also, you don't need to understand why a market is volatile.

Only that the volatility can be exploited by taking tiny risks for the chance of, or exposure to potentially large returns. You only need to understand that small risk keeps you close to the fire where the prize is located without fear of burning up.
