Tu B’Av , the 15th Day of Av, is both an ancient and modern holiday. Originally a post-biblical day of joy, it served as a matchmaking day for unmarried women in the Second Temple period (before the fall of Jerusalem in 70 C.E.)

For us believers in Yeshua, it is a Day to remember our First Love, to think on our coming Wedding Feast and our vows to follow our Beloved Bridegroom King with all our hearts! It is interesting that the Jewish people consider it the second most important day with the first being Yom Kippur! Oh that their eyes would be open to embrace Yeshua Hamachiya!
