How to defeat the Traxxas ID system

I discuss my findings on how to defeat the Traxxas ID plug and the ID charger. I had to create my own pigtail adapter to IC5 and this led to these findings. If you can find a prefabricated adapter, I do suggest going that route over this route. However, I had to go this route do to extenuating circumstances. Please practice safe battery handling and do not attempt this if you do not have a dolid understanding of electronics and lipo batteries!
