Gabe Escobedo has been selected by the establishment for SBUSD, voters have no choice.

With news that Kate Ford is not running for office, SBUSD Board of Trustees, her successor has been chosen. Gabe Escobedo, SB City Planning Commission, had not pulled paperwork but had until the next Wednesday because the seats incumbent is not running. There are 2 other candidates who have pulled paperwork; Efigenia Banales and Dan La Berge.
Joshua Molina predicts the race will go to Gabe because of the amount of endorsements he already has from the establishment Dems.
