What doe is mean to believe in Moshiach?

One of Rambam's 13 Fundamental Principles of Jewish Faith is belief in the coming of Moshiach, but he writes it in a way that is very different to the way he writes the other Fundamental Principles.

What is it about belief in Moshiach that drove Rambam to change his entire writing style for this principle??
