SHOW ME WHO MY NEIGHBOR IS LORD!!!

Mark 12:30-31 King James Version
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

There's something about this passage of scripture, that both stirs and challenges my heart every time I read it, because I need to be reminded of just WHO my neighbor is, and to not ignore them. If you wonder just who I believe my neighbor is, it’s simple. Everyone is! It doesn't matter what your skin color is your ethnic, economic, or religious background, lifestyle or anything about a person, God made the human race. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional, are such a conviction, as well as a challenge to my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please check out these questions for yourself, and I pray that God will speak to you through them.

How can you reach out to others in a neighborly way?

What can you do for people in need around you?

This vlog I'm about to share with you all, shares a great deal with this, and it's something I feel very led of the Lord to share with all of you today. Please watch this vlog, and really listen to what is being said. Most of all I pray you learn just who your neighbor really is! 😊

As I close this post with all of you tonight, I challenge you to consider, to deeply think about just WHO your neighbor is. To know that there are people out there who are either homeless, unemployed, disabled, and lonely, who need our help, and we need to help them now. These people are our neighbors, and we must never ignore them. I also challenge you to carefully think about not only who your neighbor is, but how you can put that love into action today. Take time to say hello to your neighbors, and don't be afraid to introduce yourself. You never know the conversation that will start, and that you'll get to know that person better. I also encourage you to take the time to find out just what the needs are of those around you are, whether it's in your neighborhood, your church, or anywhere. Ask God to show you ways where you could be used of Him to offer His love to others. A love that can make anyone new!
