A Different Kind Of Road Trip - For Us!

From the littlest town of Ingomar to Fort Dilts, located on the grasslands of North Dakota, we start on a different kind of road trip, for us, into parts of the Midwest USA. Fort Dilts was the site of a major Indian attack on a wagon train in 1864. Out in the middle of nowhere, a handful of soldiers and those who were traveling west, made a very difficult defense in the face of great odds and an overwhelming number of attackers. Even though we won't be finding many places to boondock, we'll still be looking for free or low cost campsites as we look for backroads oddities because it's always fun to find out what's down the next road!

Getting out on the road is what Linda and I love to do with our converted cargo trailer camper. We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee.
