What happens when the sheriff is the leader of a murderous gang? Do you like ghost towns? We visited Bannack, MT, one of the best preserved ghost towns you can find, and tell the story of it's violent past, which led to the hanging of Sheriff Plumber and his gang of cutthroats, 25 men in all. The town was founded in 1862 and Plummer was hanged in 1864. It's part of our history and you can tour this incredible place! There is plenty of camping for all types of RVs in this beautiful area of Montana. Also, we found a fantastic "Taco Bus" in Dillon, MT with incredible Mexican food that we highly recommend!
