Modern Materiel is Making Waves in a Crowded AR-15 Market

Modern Materiel was formed in 2015 to fill a very specific need; make high-quality NJ compliant AR rifles. New Jersey, like many states on the eastern seaboard have very restrictive gun laws. Jersey compliant rifles must a fixed, non-adjustable stick and are not allowed to sport a flash hider, bayonet lug or any magazine over 15-rounds. Joe Savio is one of the owners and comes from a firearms training background. He felt like his students were being given the short end of the stick, their only rifle options being neutered versions of big brand rifles or really expensive premium rifles.
