Hi-Point Has the YC9 Almost Locked In

Ohio based Hi-Point Firearms arrived at SHOT Show 2020 with their latest iteration of the now famous YC9. This is almost production ready the company rep told Guns.com. The only parts still in development are involved with the magazine and a couple of the internals. However, what you see here in this video from the SHOT Show floor is what the production model will look like. Some noteable features that carried over from the prototype that was on display last year are the aggressive slide cuts, the threaded barrel, the accessory rail, and the replaceable sights.

You should be seeing the YC9 hitting the store shelves this year with a capacity of what they are hoping to be 10+1, but that is something also still in development. What makes Hi-Point famous is their aggressive pricing and the YC9 will be no different with an estimated MSRP hovering around the $200 mark.
