The name Ranu Mondal is now the hottest trend all over social media platforms, and there are a lot of discussions going on around the web about her talent and mesmerizing voice that matches even the best in the industry.

Ranu Mondal is a street singer from Bengal's Nadia district is also known as the 'Lata of Ranaghat'. Atindra Chakraborty, a 26-year old engineer, had first heard Ranu singing a Mohammed Rafi number at Ranaghat station, and requested her to continue.

Ranu, thereafter, sang Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai, and Atindra recorded it on his phone. He shared it on Facebook soon after and of course, she went viral.

Owing to her sheer quality of voice, she now even got an opportunity to sing in the Himesh Reshammiya song named “teri meri kahani” for the movie “Happy Hardy and Heer”.
