Guns.com Unboxing Studio Presents: CZ 75 SP-01

The CZ 75 SP-01 is known the world over for being a reliable, hammer-fired pistol used by military and competitive shooters alike. I was excited to get this gun into the unboxing studio because I’ve long thought this double stack pistol was underrated. The CZ 75 has been around a long time having first been introduced in 1975. Over the years CZ has innovated the lineup to include many variations aimed at specific niche audiences. The version we took into the unboxing studio was the SP-01 Tactical.

This “tacticool” pistol has an all-steel construction which means it weighs in a bit heavy at over 38-ounces. Because this is a very heavy gun, you’ll likely see it relegated to duty work, competition shooting, and home defense. That added weight does have some benefits in it helps keep recoil smooth and manageable. Many shooters claim that this is among the lightest recoil pistol they own.
