Like so many families, our family lost our business and then our home in the financial crash of 2008. We ended up homeless and yet turned ashes into beauty when we found ourselves blessed with a little piece of property on the side of a mountain. There we survived off-grid in a tipi for 4 years learning how to be modern pioneers in the 21st Century. We discovered that just because one is poor doesn't mean they have to live in filth or a shapeless life. These videos do not explain the WHY of our story, it's just a glimpse into HOW we lived off-grid.
