Computer Programmed Simulated Reality Speech by Phillip K Dick - Metz France 1977 French Edited Out

The video you are about to watch is a talk delivered in Metz France by well known author Philip K Dick in the year 1977. The talk delivered is titled “If You Find This World Bad, You Should See Some of the Others”.

This presentation zones in on one theory which we have discussed here on this channel a number of times, and that is that the Earth realm is more than likely some sort of computer programmed simulated reality. We've also speculated together that all or part of the universe could also be a computer program of sorts.....but that conversation is for another day.

Dick goes on to say quote:
---“We are living in a computer-programmed reality, & the only clue we have to it is when some variable is changed, and some alteration in our reality occurs."
---"We would have the overwhelming impression that we were reliving the present, déjà vu, perhaps precisely in the same way, hearing the same words, saying the same words. I submit that these impressions are valid and significant, and I will even say such an impression is a clue that in some past time point a variable was changed, reprogrammed as it were, and that because of this an alternative world branched off."

Dick goes into the who, what, where, when, and why of how he came to this theory. For this type of speech to occur in 1977, Dick was way ahead of his time....Today we have a number of people researching & discussing this very topic, and it is no longer laughed at.

In a number of books that Dick has wrote he warned us about future technology advancements, almost every one of those has come true or is on the cusp of becoming inserted into society....Here is a short list:

-Artificial Intelligence Will Take Over
-Humans Will Lose Themselves In Virtual Reality

-"Science" Will Alter Our Memories
-Marketing Will Take Over Everything
-The Media Will Perfect Brainwashing

Philip Kindred Dick (December 16, 1928 – March 2, 1982) was an American writer known for his work in science fiction. He produced 44 published novels and approximately 121 short stories, most of which appeared in science fiction magazines during his lifetime.[1] His fiction explored varied philosophical and social themes, and featured recurrent elements such as alternate realities, simulacra, large corporations, drug abuse, authoritarian governments, and altered states of consciousness. His work was concerned with questions surrounding the nature of reality, perception, human nature, and identity.
