We started our trip from Seattle. We rented a car and drove up to Mt. Baker - Snoqualmie National Forest Vista Point (Artist Point) for 138 miles (about 3 hours).
Our first stop was “Fire and Ice Interpretive Trail”. The walking loop is .7 mile (.9 km), but there is a barrier-free trail as well, which is .2 mile (.4 km). Hiking this trail you have a view of Table Mountain and the lake.
The second stop was the “Artist Point”. Due to the weather conditions we could’t see that breathtaking view we came for.

Tip: Get prepared for a quick weather change. Bring warm clothes, rain jackets, proper shoes, and snacks of course, don’t repeat our mistakes, as we had non of that with us.

On our way back we stopped at Nooksack Falls (17 miles (45 minutes)) from the “Artist Point”, which is on the left side of the road. Then we headed to Silver Lake, which is 20 miles (30 minutes) from Nooksack Falls. It is a great place to stop by and rest and have some food.
From there we headed back home taking a Chuckanut Drive Road, which is known as the most scenic in Washington State. From this spot, travelers have long enjoyed spectacular views of Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands, and, on the horizon, the Olympic Mountains.

На обратном пути мы остановились у водопадов “Нуксак” (Nooksack Falls), которые находятся в 17 милях (45 минутах) от площадки “Artist Point”, с левой стороны дороги. Затем мы поехали к “Серебренному озеру” (Silver Lake), которое находится в 20 милях (30 минутах) от водопадов “Нуксак” (Nooksack Falls). Отличное место для остановки на перекус и отдых на природе.
Оттуда мы отправились домой по дороге Chuckanut Drive Road, которая известна как самая живописная в штате Вашингтон. С этого места туристы наслаждаются видами на Пьюджет-Саунд, острова Сан Хуан, и на горизонте горы Олимпик.
