Naval mine explodes at beach in Zatoka, Odessa region

Three natives of Zhytomyr, Zaporozhye and Chernihiv regions aged 25, 32 and 53 reportedly died, and two women were injured - a 43-year-old native of the Chernihiv region and a 44-year-old native of Kiev. Ukraine is said to have placed a significant number of naval mines in the waters of the Buzhsko-Dneprovsky estuary and the coast in the Odessa region in anticipation of the landing operation of the Russian Navy, however they were supposed to have been removed recently to facilitate the safe export of grain.
