Crock-pot tomato sauce🍅The struggle is real...

I didn't have enough tomatoes to can, but didn't want to see so many tomatoes go to waste. I found this crock-pot tomato sauce recipe that's easy and let's me get on with my day!
I share a little of my day... and I share a short devotion at the end.

Crock Pot Tomato Sauce:
4 lbs tomatoes (I cut and quartered the large tomatoes), 2 cloves of garlic diced (I used 4 cloves), 1 onion chopped, 1/2 teaspoon of each: oregano, basil, salt, pepper, (I was generous and used heaping on the spices) 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
For a better flavor it suggested to caramelize the onions and I did for mine.
Cook in your slow-cooker on high for 8-10 hours.
