What's Wrong With Capitalism: Employment and Advertising Part 3

In this third part on ContraPoints critique on what's wrong with capitalism, ContraPoints touches upon employment with 'shitty jobs' and advertising. As I have covered in this video, the argument on employment is irrational as entry level jobs are not meant to pay high wages and completely ignores the fact, in a free market, the individual has the freedom to choose to start up their own private business.

ContraPoints also fails to comprehend advertising, again, socialists assume that you are forced into buying things, the truth is, no matter how enticing advertising can be, no one forces you to buy anything, life is full of choices and there is a wealth of information out there on products for you to rationally decide whether you buy such a product or not. Another point that ContraPoints fails to understand is that it is consumer demand that drives production, again, this same argument is what Keynesians fall into the trap of thinking, that demand is something you have to create via production, this is precisely why Keynesians are wasteful in the first place.
