Eco boards being made. Eco lumber is more and more being the way to go.

Eco boards come from trees for those that didn't know where your wood comes from. Travis cut some 2x6 boards from this log. The big box stores are charging outrageous prices for lumber these days so the way to go is by supporting your local sawmill. They have less overhead and it keeps your dollars in the community while keeping a neighbor employed. Boards are usually higher quality and you can negotiate with what you need , not what the box stores have. Building a house? a barn? a dock? or even a porch or chicken coop? Wood cut to your order.
