Capitalism benefits every consumer. The harbingers of statism will create scapegoats. Every business tries to provide you with what you want. The business is rewarded with profits if they’re successful. They suffer losses if they aren’t. Any attempt to tax profits punishes you. The businesses that don’t provide you with what you want are bailed out under statism. This is a perverse incentive structure.
