What on earth?! When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry essentially resigned as members of the royal family yesterday, I thought they had lost their minds! Meghan, a biracial, divorced American actress, was neither a dream match for the British Royal family nor given a break by the British press. Which is exactly why I was rooting for her (alongside many 18-24 year olds) to reinvent the Royal family.

Who cares? I hear you ask. Well, I think we all should because Megan and Harry's exit from ‘senior’ royalty or ‘Megxit’ as it’s being dubbed by the UK media, has a few lessons for us all to learn - good, bad and ugly - about engaging Generation Z, our most savvy, color-blind and gender-blind generation we’ve seen till date.
