This is a proper water filter for people who want to prepare for if (when) the grid goes down and the water supply stops or for anyone who enjoys self reliance or owns a campervan.
We take clean water for granted in the 'developed' world but our infrastructure can be fragile or messed with as we've seen in the last year as we move into an age of manufactured crisis.
What does having a water filter on stand-by mean?
Well, the worst case scenario is that you have a water filter on stand-by in case anything happens to the water supply infrastructure, nothing happens and you still have a filter on stand-by for the future.
The best case scenario you've got clean drinking water when others are drinking contaminated water and dying from cholera or other dirty water conditions ....... It's a win/win when you're prepared but it's a lose/lose if you're not prepared and there is a huge difference between both scenarios - literally life and death as people all round the world who currently use these filters every day are well aware of.
