Episode 3 - Vegetable Garden #1 - Project Update

In this video we will take a look at the first part of the vegetable garden.
It's a decent size and has two large beds approximately 8'6" x 8'6" with a few smaller beds too - all made of hardwood railway sleepers. None of those fake modern softwood 'sleepers' (which don't last 5 minutes) here.

They may be mega-heavy but the proper sleepers are there to stay. When I'm an old man I don't want to be fannying about rebuilding anything.....

It was a bit of a task making the beds so substantial and getting the filters linked up to the garden by pipes but it has definitely been worth it.

Other versions of protection mesh and landscape fabric are available but I chose these types as I know they last. No point wasting credits in the bank on stuff which doesn't last....

If you have eyes to see now is the time to save up and take action to be self-reliant and more self-sufficient. As I am not blind to what goes on behind the headlines I've had the luxury of being able to save up over a few years for these projects but nothing is more important than self-reliance and learning new skills since skills are (or soon will be) the new currency.
Money well spent. Fake 'money' exchanged for something of real value - that's a great deal.
