THE BIG SHOPPING MALL

In this video, we went over the big shopping mall. George Carlin says only a bunch of halfwits would turn USA into a big shopping mall. The consumeristic/nihilistic society lacks signifiers and icons that represent something higher than just the material. We know that sunlight is all around us , yet we cant see it. Yet obviously it exist. One could argue that something conscious was necessary to create consciousness.
