In today's CPAC Exclusive, Elaine Beck interviews Joe Mitchell, an Iowa State Representative and President of Run GenZ, to discuss his story running for office and being elected the youngest State Rep in Iowa's history, the current state of youth politics in America, and how he plans to engage Generation Z to save the Republic.

Joe Mitchell is President and Founder of Run GenZ, a 501(c)4 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering, recruiting, and mentoring the next generation of young, conservative leaders as they step up to the plate and run for public office. Joe, originally elected at the age of 21, serves the citizens of Iowa’s 84th House District which is located in the southeast region of the state. On November 3rd, 2020, the constituents of Iowa’s 84th House district overwhelmingly supported Joe’s re-election campaign where he garnered 71.2% of the vote. In the legislature, Joe serves on the Ways and Means, Judiciary, State Government Committees as well as the RIFF Budget Sub-Committee.
