Laban had kept Jacob’s wages from him, so Jacob decided to make his own! Back then it was believed that if you put striped wood before flocks they would make that color animal! For example, striped wood would make stripped sheep! Today let’s read Genesis 30:38-39 and color the coloring page to determine the color of the sheep!

Then he placed the peeled branches in the watering troughs, so that they would be directly in front of the flocks when they came to drink. When the flocks were in heat and came to drink, they mated in front of the branches. And they bore young that were streaked or spotted.
