Word came down this week, that there's going to be a new version of the 1939 classic THE WIZARD OF OZ, coming from Kenya Barris, the producer of BLACK-ISH. And while details are sparse, it's being reported as a reimagining of the musical, not a new interpretation going back to the original books.
