The Bellamy Brothers and Billy Joel may seem like a strange juxtaposition of artists but somehow the Mayor pulls it off for a Sunday Segue City Special. He's always been a big Billy Joel fan and used to like the Bellamy Brothers but their PR and management people never got back to him when he tried contacting about 15 times about his getting their blessings for use of a line or two of lyrics from one of their songs to use in one of his novels... they never called, texted or wrote him back... so, now the Mayor will have fun pointing it out here... Now maybe they'll call him and he'll let them leave a message or 12 for him...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
