Gunrunners provide Close Air Support

August 9, 2022 - U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 269 fly the UH-1Y Venom and AH-1Z Viper near Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. HMLA-269 trained to increase proficiency in close-air support. HMLA-269 is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force. This B-Roll package contains the following: U.S. Marines firing M240D machine gun and a GAU-21 .50-caliber machine gun.
