Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel

January 24, 2014 - U.S. Marines with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 2/5 (BLT 2/5), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) conduct a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel (TRAP) with simulated downed pilots at the Jungle Warfare Training Center, Okinawa, Japan. The training enhanced the unit’s ability to recover personnel and maneuver in a jungle environment while maintaining unit readiness.
