In Summer

The time of year
We go to the mountains,
The beach, and the lakes
We vacation to enjoy
Our family, friends, and life
From hiking to sailing
We become tourists
And play the part of the visitor
We spend money
To Entertain ourselves
in creative ways
And in those Summer nights
We gather where we gather
Telling stories of our days
Sharing the moments
Of our adventures in Summer.
