R35(?) Lebel Carbine identification

I have a Lebel cut down to a carbine. Purchased at a recent gun show for a very reasonable amount. I THINK it is real but I am not sure. And I have a copy of Ian Mccollum's new book on French Rifles: HIGHLY Recommended!
