What actually happens when a timing belt breaks? What does a broken timing belt sound like? What is timing belt noise? How much does it cost if a timing belt breaks? These are all timing belt questions I get all the time. Well today we have a 2007 GLI(same as a GTI) FSI that the owner said it had a broken timing belt.
