Green Energy = World Peace?

Jennifer Granholm has said that there’s volatility when obtaining fossil fuels from countries that may not have our best interests at heart. Wouldn’t this imply that we should, in fact, continue drilling for oil in our own country? She also said something about world peace for added impact.
